Wieder in Brugge gewesen, einem der schönsten und eindrucksvollsten Theme Parks zwischen Mittelalter und früher Neuzeit, die Europa zu bieten hat. Noch einmal voller Ehrfurcht die “Anbetung des Lammes” im Sankt-Bavo-Dom in Gent betrachtet, und atemlos einen der echten Tempel europäischer Geistesgeschichte durcheilt, die großartige Druckerei Plantin-Moretus in Antwerpen.

The Danish COBRA artist Asger Jorn has collected art, first for himself, then for his hometown Silkeborg. The resulting museum is different. Not first-rate in any artsy-fartsy tourist guide sense, but a lot of interesting 20th century pieces selected from the point of view of a practitioner.
